Overview
Northwest Retail Group is recruiting an HR Advisor to join their central team in Carlisle, supporting people operations across 8 retail stores. You will be the first point of contact for managers on employee relations matters, coordinate recruitment campaigns, and drive HR policy implementation. This is a varied and hands-on generalist role.
Responsibilities
- Advise store managers on employee relations matters including absence, conduct, and performance
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment including job advertising, screening, and interview scheduling
- Support the onboarding process for new starters across all store locations
- Maintain accurate HR records and produce monthly HR metrics reports
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Support learning and development initiatives including training coordination
Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards
- Minimum 2 years experience in an HR advisory or generalist role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience handling employee relations cases with confidence
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (travel to store locations required)
